To Subsidize, Promote and Increase Local /National Farming
WHAT: IS BEING FARMED CURRENTLY IN THE U.S.?
WHERE ARE THE FARMS LOCATED THAT ARE CURRENTLY FARMING WHAT?
To create jobs and help with, not just, the U.S. food shortage, but the world food
shortage as soon as possible. Why not locate theses farms and subsidize their
expansion for x number of jobs etc....
Also for the companies that are currently farming a particular product, but their farm-set-
up could allow them to easily expand to do other similar products, why not subsidize
that company to expand to begin immediately with the government as a “For Profit”
partner maybe that expansion process could be completed for the next farming season
or cycle. Including locking in location where the products would be sold to, or
distributed to….
Because of the state of the U.S. economy, Trade agreements have to be re-negotiated.
How much flour, sugar, how many peanut products and on & on & on Americans use.
More of those items should be produced and distributed and sold within and outside
the U.S. etc.
How soon can a team be assembled to be ready to Hit The Ground Running, identifying
the farms, what each farm produce? At the same time, that same team should be
prepared to work on what will be required to
expand that farm etc.
Also in reference to distribution, if the major stores etc want carry the products than
warehouse like environments could be developed to sell the products cheaper, believe
me American will go where they get the best price. America is in crisis; there is not time
for special interest babysitting. Additionally the “Green” can be implemented
This team can not be left to individual City & State Government, or an (SBA) Small
Business Administration to implement. Theses teams need to be composed of the best,
the most efficient and brightest individuals this country have.-No favors-Because of the
urgency, the teams must be a “Hit The Ground Running” solution oriented, hand
picked team, that will work with the efficiency of Senator Obama’s campaign...if some of
them just happen to be City and State employees that’s excellent.,
While one team is working on restoring and expanding the farms, another team should
be assembled at the same time with the same urgency creating new Farms; This could
mean re-negotiating some of our trade agreements to the point of selling more of our
goods to other countries, as we do on a few things like grain etc. now. That can not be
done is not an acceptable answer. The U.S. can not be cute, we have to get it right this
time, OR there will be no U.S. to be proud of…
Who will work the farms: in addition to people who want to work where ever work can
be found. We have many Ex offenders, as well as thousands of people in prison
(costing the U. S. money that we do not have now)…for light crimes such as stealing a
pair of shoes, selling “crack” etc. Here in the U.S.,we have the manpower, the land, and
the know how, we need to put egos, favors etc. to rest, and get down to serious work
using what the country was built on. With all the un-used farm land, unemployed
people, “employable light crime people”, and expertise in the U.S., a food shortage in
the U.S. is political bureaucracy. We should be supplying more food to the world to
help pay off our trillion dollar debt.
Actually my thinking is that the plan for government subsidizing and expanding farms
and manufacturing need to be tied to the government –literally-partnering with those
farms and manufactures as “For Profit” like any other investor. Interest and tax on the
money invested is no longer good enough with the level of U.S. debt. The legal
agreements can be done….
Unless the U. S. develops “For profit” entities it will take 200 years to pay off the debt
and maintain the country including the military.
I talk about that more in what would you do to pay off the trillion dollar debt.
THE U.S. HAVE TO MAKE DRASTIC CHANGES TO GET OUT OF THE CRISIS THAT WE
ARE IN ALIVE….
